One of the things I missed most when we left Idaho was WINCO, for those who don't know it is a great place to go grocery shopping for a fraction of the price of the local Rexburg stores. I was shocked by how much we were spending on grocery's each month once we moved here. So I started COUPONING! I know ...crazy...and just like my mom. She taught me well. Ok, I have to share/brag about my so far all time best deal. All the food on the table (I should have taken them out of the bags) Ritz, wheat thins, toaster strudel, goldfish, pizza, pop, muffin mix, yogurt and more.
Total retail value = $181
Total Savings = $124
Total spent = $57
Money received back in Rebates $ 20
How much it really cost me ONLY $ 37
So many people say they don't have time for such things. I am not as busy as I was this time last year, working full time as a 4th grade teacher and being a new mommy. Now that I am staying at home we have less income but I have more time. I spend it with Hailey and while she is napping I cut my coupons and put my list together. I read this article and it made me feel better about how I spend my time. Read it. Not too bad for a "stay at home mom."
