Hailey's First Christmas!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2009

Sadly, Santa Clause did not assemble the car before wrapping it. Maybe he will do better next year. It all worked out though, Hailey got to play with the box and all the parts, and then when she went down for a nap Alan and Papa put it together for her.

Yes, you are seeing right she got 2 cars to push around the house. Spoiled girl!!! Of course the Grandparents got her the one that makes lots of noise.

Hailey's first laptop. Watch out she might follow in her daddy's footsteps.
Auntie Nene (Jenean) got her this adorable tutu.
Hailey struggled at first opening the gifts. She wanted to eat each little piece of paper. It wasn't long before she got the hang of it and started helping everyone else.

I got a very nice jewlery box with lots of room for future gifts!
wink wink

Alan got a very nice Dyson vacuum that is "Asthma & Allergy Friendly" we hope it will help him not get sick as often. Everyone pitched in on this gift and we got a good deal on black friday. Since he allready knew what his big gift was, I had to do something to make Christmas morning fun for him. Look close, that is the old Dirt Devil he just unwrapped. I took his new one all apart and hid the pieces around the house with clues attached to each. Then of course the fun was putting it all back together and vacuuming the house.

Christmas Eve

As is tradition for both of our families, we open a present on Christmas Eve which is "usually" PJ's to wear to bed that night. Grandma, busy as a bee, sewed Hailey some cute Christmas PJ's. Sadly, they were too big. It was ok, because Hailey was way more interested in the present that Papa got everyone. 2 HUGE BOXES!!! She thought they were pretty amazing and had a blast crawling through them with her aunties. Everyone else enjoyed watching them play and listening to the movie on the new speakers that came in the boxes.

Grandma has come to visit

We were very blessed and were able to get my mother here to Georgia for Christmas. She flew in late on Sunday Dec. 20th and will be going back after the New Year. We are so glad to have her here with us for the Holidays. Hailey is still warming up to her a bit, but she will come around. Grandma sewed a beautiful Christmas dress for Hailey, in just the couple of days since she has been here, just in time for Christmas Eve at the Church.
