This past week we went to Utah on vacation. Crystal had the week off for spring break. We are moving out of Rexburg in June so we would not be able to make the Durfee family party. We went down on Monday and stayed with Uncle George and Aunt Annette and had a great time visiting with family. It snowed and it rained and it was something other than what you would normally call spring.
On a more somber note Aunt Silvia, Crystal's Great Aunt, passed away. We are happy that she is in a better place and that we were able to go to the funeral. Although we are sad because of her passing we are also blessed to be able to spend time with so much family because of when she passed away. It was neat to hear more about Aunt Sylvia, and Grandma Durfee's family and life growing up. Aunt Silvia was buried in Utah next to her husband, Earl.
We were able to get a four generation picture, Hailey, Crystal, Crystal's mother, and Crystal's Grandma.
After the funeral session we went out to eat at Subway with a lot of the family. It was fun! I am glad that we were able to go on our "spring break".
School starts again on Monday for Crystal and she resumes her teaching. Here is a picture today of what the weather looks like here.
I heard something on the radio earlier this week about global warming, I guessed it missed Rexburg. I think where I grew up school would have been closed down as well, too bad huh?
